Confined spaces are among the highest-risk environments in industry, where a wrong decision can result in serious or fatal incidents.

The Confined Spaces course (for the competent person) is designed to develop the competencies needed to identify hazards, assess risks and safely supervise work in confined spaces, in accordance with standards such as OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 and 1926 Subpart AA.

This program is taught by Anselmy Castañeda, a professional with training in Occupational Safety and experience in high-risk industrial operations, through Global Safety Solutions.

The course provides the tools needed to perform the role of Competent Person, including:

It does not include certification as a rescuer, but it covers key fundamentals of emergency response.

By starting the course, the participant confirms that they have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. Accessing and using the content implies full acceptance of this agreement.

2. Course access and use
Access to the course is personal, individual and non-transferable.
The participant is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.

Sharing access with third parties is not permitted.

3. Access period
The participant will have a limited period of access to the course (up to 120 days), within which they must complete the content and the final assessment.

4. Participant responsibilities
The participant is responsible for:

  • Completing the course content
  • Reviewing the material properly
  • Meeting the established timeframes

Applying the knowledge responsibly in their work environment

5. Assessment and passing
To pass the course, the participant must:

  • Complete the content
  • Take the final exam
  • Obtain a minimum score of 70%

The system will record the exam attempt for validation.

6. Academic integrity (Anti-fraud)
The participant agrees to:

  • Take the exam individually
  • Not receive unauthorized outside help
  • Not copy or distribute course or exam content

In the event of irregularities, Global Safety Solutions may void the result or restrict access.

7. Certification
Upon passing the course, the participant will receive a digital certificate issued by Global Safety Solutions (GSS).

The certificate attests to successful completion of the course, but does not replace additional hands-on training requirements or certifications required by regulations or employers.

8. Limitation of liability
The course content is based on industrial safety standards and best practices.

The participant acknowledges that the correct application of the knowledge depends on actual operating conditions; therefore, Global Safety Solutions is not liable for misuse of the information.

9. Use of content
All course content is the property of Global Safety Solutions.

Its reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior authorization is prohibited.

10. Platform availability
Global Safety Solutions does not guarantee continuous and uninterrupted availability of the system. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance or technical causes.

11. User conduct
The participant agrees not to:

  • Attempt to breach the platform
  • Impersonate others
  • Use the system for improper purposes

Non-compliance may result in suspension of access.
